Hey Scribblers!!
So I’ve been hard at work lately. I’ve finished the portfolio work that I needed to get my degree so now I’m waiting in anticipation for the feedback. That alone kept me busy for three weeks which meant that no writing took place. I had to make a choice between finalising my degree and putting the writing on the back burner for a while.
I am currently busy finalising a horror short story that I hope to release by the end of the month if all goes according to plan. Hopefully, things will work out and I can reveal it all by the end of the week. To keep you entertained until then, here is a sneak peek of the cover and a small snippet of the WIP.
Current WIP Snippet:
Taylor – Taylor – Taylor
My feet felt heavy, slugging through the blood-boned water feeling warm against the cold fear running through me. As I came to the corner, red eyes appeared slanted in the corner with a demonesque curve.
Blood ice ran through my body keeping me in place. The eyes grew larger as it seemed to get closer. A reddish-brown claw came out of the darkness towards me. Blackened by burn marks, it tried to grab me from the darkness with a menacing growl. Trying to back away, I tumbled backwards falling in the mosh of blood and bones scurrying to get away but getting nowhere.
The claw grabbed my arm and started pulling towards the void. Fighting back made it hard with slipping and sliding in the sludge but that didn’t stop me from trying my damned hardest.
Screaming and kicking, I used all my might until the claw slid from my arm, scratching me in the process. I struggled to my feet and ran to the main light switch flipping it on.

In other news:
This year I will be part of the 2020 Boxset that will release in October, ready for Halloween.
The book title is called “Chimera” and it’s about a group of friends that decide that it would be a great idea to go camping near a ghost town on Halloween weekend. After they start disappearing one by one, they realise that a haunted forest is the least of their worries.
