Hey Scribblers,
Today’s post is just something random about what I have been doing with free time.
So this last couple of weeks I have been feeling rather Nostalgic, to say the least. I have been rewatching one of my all time fave shows….
Besides it being a nice teen show with everything normal you want (no supernatural things in this series) it follows the teens where they will learn how to survive various elements of adolescence. Think of Pretty Little Liars meets Dawson’s Creek.
It has hot guys
Great music, villians, snarky comments,
But that’s not the only things that makes a show/story great. What makes a great story is the fact that it can relate to the viewers or readers. The story should have entertainment, truth, heartfelt moments. You know the ones where you cry in the middle of the story, want to throw your devices because a character is being an ass, scenes where you laugh so much your eyes tear up. Those are the stories worth remembering.
The ones that are forever imbedded in your mind. That will never let you go no matter how hard you try.
So do yourself a favour… Watch the show. You will laugh
You will cry
But you will never ever be disappointed. Tree Hill might only be fiction, but it is part of us all.
With that, I will leave you with a quote from the cast:
“It’s the oldest story in the world. One day, you’re 17 and playing for someday, and then quietly and without you really noticing, someday is today, and then someday is yesterday, and this is your life. We spend so much time wanting, pursuing, wishing. But ambition is good, chasing things with integrity is good, dreaming. If you had a friend you knew you’d never see again, what would you say? If you could do one last thing for someone you love, what would it be? Say it. Do it. Don’t wait. Nothing lasts forever. Make a wish and place it in your heart. Anything you want, everything you want. Do you have it? Good. Now believe it can come true. You never know where the next miracle’s going to come from, the next memory, the next smile, the next wish come true. But if you believe that it’s right around the corner, you open your heart and mind to the possibility of it, to the certainty of it, you just might get the thing you’re wishing for. The world is full of magic. You just have to believe in it. So make your wish. Do you have it? Good. Now believe in it with all your heart.”
Have fun reading & Writing
